Making boxes on the laser cutter is a great way to learn how to make 3-D objects out of flat pieces of wood or acrylic. In this workshop, students will learn how to operate the Blackcat Labs laser cutter. Also, learners will design a small personalized box using a combination of the web-based application, MakerCase and the software, Lightburn.

Basic knowledge of software like Inkscape and Illustrator is recommended.

Prerequisite: Sign off on Epilog Laser Cutter to etch yourself. If not, the instructor can for you.
