Imagine using a laser (yes, a real laser!) for etching creative designs, cut out unique business cards, develop mechanical components, and so much more. Our Epilog is a small easy-to-use laser cutter with fantastic speed and etching resolution quality. After learning how to operate our Epilog laser cutter at Fabville, students can cut out and etch shapes and designs onto all types of products and surfaces. This workshop will cover exporting and preparing work with Inkscape for the laser to cut or engrave materials like cardboard, plywood, and acrylic.

Basic knowledge of software like Inkscape and Illustrator is recommended.
