We have more printers than we know what to do with!
With a recent donation of 3 large printers that Kinda-sorta-almost work FabVille is officially running out of room for project Printers. We need YOUR HELP to tune up our existing stock, and see what we can save from the machines we have lined up in the reserves.
Our Goal: To have as many working printers ready for FabVille 26-27 as possible, And to donate any more to our friends in Springfield.community’s soon-to-open hackerspace!
We will need to
1: Identify malfunctions,
2. Identify the fixes we have available day of, and what would be addressable this month Versus next year, and what is not saveable.
3. Tackle the repairs we can, and make plans for the repairs we’ll need more time for.
If we can't save a machine for either space, We will scrap into useful parts, some of which you makers may be walking away with!
So join us on June 5th from 4pm to 9pm at FabVille for a tinkering good time!
